Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) is celebrated today as one of the most influential designers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. New information revealed in recently discovered letters suggests that Tiffany designer Clara Driscoll (1861-1944), actually designed most of Tiffany's leaded glass lamps, many of his objets d'art, and supervised the execution of many of his most celebrated leaded windows and mosaics. Her passion for the natural world and redefined design sense are unmistakable in these unique earrings which feature her design for the Clematis leaded glass and bronze lampshade.
